Meet the Team

We're very proud of all the team at the kennels and will be posting up individual biogs in due course.

Paul has been running the kennels since 1989, at that time he was in partnership with his aunt Rita Baines who established the business in 1962 on his parent's farm. Now he is in partnership with Daniel, his son, who joined him in 2016 after university and Melanie, his wife, once an archaeologist who founded Shear Bliss Grooming Parlour in 1990 after moving down to Hampshire. Craig has been at the kennels since he joined us for work experience from school. Soon he will have been part of the team for 20 years! Clare joined us in even longer ago in 2001. After working for over 10 years at the kennels, she now runs the grooming parlour with great flair. Meg is soon to have been with us for 10 years. Eleanor, Hannah and Cody have all been with us over three years, so they all know our "regulars" as if they were their own, and share many qualifications in small animal care.

As you can see we have a well qualified, enthusiastic and mature team to give your dogs the care they deserve. It is a joy to have such an established team who interact so well with our customers and guests. They can certainly cope with all the scenarios and situations that looking after 80 dogs can throw at them, and all with good humour and professionalism.
